is Alexander Hsu

I'm a 5th year Ph.D. candidate at Carnegie Mellon University studying neuroscience and machine learning.
From 2017-2018, I worked at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center with a focus on speech recognition.
Prior to joining IBM, I had obtained a Master's degree in neurobiology and worked in Massachusetts General Hospital as a medical scribe.

B-SOiD: An unsupervised, data-driven behavioral classification.

B-SOiD clusters animal behaviors in an data-driven fashion, thereby removing annotation subjectivity.
Multiple labs have utilized our open source software to probe neural processes underlying behaviors and sensations.
